Man On The Move!!!

Life has been really busy since I became Mr. Mobility. I have been having a blast running around causing havoc everywhere I go!! Rufus and Sebastian hate that I am mobile because I love tormenting them!! Mommy has been having a blast asking me to give her things. Can you believe that I am actually doing it??? She thinks that it is too cool that I clearly understand what I am being told. Apparently she forgot that I have tubes, so I can hear perfectly fine with my "new" ears.

Anyway, I got to see Uncle Fester this weekend. As usual I had a blast wrassling with him. Aunt Patty came too! But guess who came that I truly care about??? Jessica came!!! If she were 14 years younger I would be her guy! I love looking at Jessica and following her around!!

Ms. Jennifer, I am happy to report that I got TOYS since my last post!! That's right, more TOYS!!! I got a helicopter with mega blocks from Mommy (you know I talk her into a new toy each week!), I got a "Zachary" gorilla from Auntie Norma, and I got an octopus and t-shirt from Sommer (she carried them all the way from Hawaii just for me!!). Tonight Uncle Jerry and Auntie Norma brought me Halloween treats!! I got my favoritest treats from Uncle Jerry--Cheese Puffs and I got a new Dr. Suess book from Auntie Norma. Thanks everyone, I love my treats!!!

Tomorrow is Halloween. The Wardens told Mommy that my class is having a Halloween party tomorrow and I could wear my costume. Mommy told them that I am being furloughed tomorrow so I can go to the Halloween party at work! While I love hanging out with my fellow cellmates, I have a cushy job and get spoiled on a regular work day, so I will probably make out better tomorrow since it is Halloween. Hopefully Elvis will come to work tomorrow and play with me. I love playing with Elvis because he is not like Sebastian and Rufus...Elvis actually plays with me and makes puppy barks!!

My First Play Date!!!

I had my very first play date this weekend. That's right, Uncle Fester made an appointment earlier this week to come and wrassle with me!!! He was going to take me to get doughnuts but it was too late in the morning for us to go get some doughnuts. We wrassled and wrassled!! Mommy says that Uncle Fester is a great play date for me because I am his intellectual superior but he can do things that I can't do, like change my diaper!!! Anyway, I had a blast playing with Uncle Fester and I hope he makes another play date soon!!

Ms. Jennifer, you will be happy to know that I got another toy this weekend. That's right, a new TOY!!! I also got some new clothes but clothes aren't nearly as much fun as toys.

Daddy and I went for a car ride this morning. It has been a while since it was just the two of us cruising around town. Mommy limited us to one hour because she couldn't stand worrying about me for more than that!!

I finally relented and allowed Mommy to tote me around wearing shoes like a big boy! She needs to understand that they impede my walking. They may cause a set back for me! At least she let me wear the shoes that I picked out.

Uh-Oh!!!

Well I think I am finally making a recovery from my illness. Turns out my sinus infection from a few weeks ago wasn't completely knocked out. I am being a very good boy though because I have been taking my medicine like a big boy!! Mommy is very proud of me for that. Seems she is glad that I haven't been spitting it back in her face like I used to.

My new favorite word is "Uh Oh!". Mommy and Daddy just think that it is too cool that I walk around saying "Uh Oh!" (They are pretty big on the "Mama" and "Dada" too!) I have also learned to yell gibberish! I have to make Mommy and Daddy understand that I am not just yelling gibberish, I am actually issuing them very specific instructions. Maybe they should get tubes in their ears so they can understand me!!

Anyway, I went to work yesterday instead of the Baby Penitentiary. I am happy to report that I wore out Uncle Carl and Aunt Kay!! Uncle Carl and I had a blast running Aunt Kay over repeatedly with my car. I even learned how to use the copy machine. I have the coolest picture of my feet. Mommy was quite relieved that it wasn't my bottom that got copied! Aunt Kay and Uncle Carl go to great lengths to keep me happy and entertained while I am at work. I love them both for that!! I can't believe that I actually get paid for having such fun!!

It was back to the Baby Penitentiary for me today. I had fun tormenting a little girl this morning. I can't help myself!!

I'm Sick--Again!!!

Ay Curumba!! I am sick again!! The Warden called Mommy friday and told her that I had a temperature of 104 degrees. Mommy gasped then the Warden said, "No I mean 100.4" Mommy didn't think that was very cool. Anyway, they gave me some Tylenol and my fever went down...for the time being. I have been running a fever all weekend! Mommy and Daddy took me to the doctor Saturday and they said just keep giving me Tylenol and Motrin and if I am not better by Monday to bring me back. I am beginning to think they just like co-pays. Anyway, looks like they are going to get another $20 bucks from me tomorrow because I still have a fever tonight.

Grandpa Len, Granny Bev, Grandpa Jim and Grandma Dale all came to see me Saturday night! I had a blast showing off for them even though I was a tad bit cranky. They were very impressed with my walking abilities.

Ms. Jennifer you will be happy to know that I got THREE NEW TOYS this weekend! That's right, count them--ONE, TWO and THREE!!! Auntie Norma got me the coolest Herbie the Love Bug. It makes a VVVROOOM!! VVVROOM!!! Sound! Mommy got me a big old Bob the Builder Dump Truck! Grandma Dale and Grandpa Jim got me new Star Shaped Doughnuts!! Grandpa Jim and Grandma Dale thought it was funny that I get mad when my doughnuts get stacked on the ring. Mommy kept tormenting me by stacking them!!!

Anyway that was my weekend.

Auntie Norma took me to the Baby Penitentiary today since Mommy had to take Daddy for his operation today. I have to report that she did a great job of getting me there safely. As suspected, Uncle Jerry followed us there to make sure that we got in okay. Anyway, I showed Auntie Norma the boom boom machine, my crib and all the toys in my cell block. The only bad thing Auntie Norma did was rat me out to Mommy for being mean to another cell mate. All I was doing was saying "hi" to my buddy (based on Auntie Norma's description, Mommy suspects it is the three year old boy (Mommy doesn't remember his name) who is always there in the morning and is always very nice to me. Yes, Mommy had a talk with me about not picking on people who are bigger than me and can actually whip my behind! I got home safely and didn't even traumatize Auntie Norma. Since she knows what I am capable of, she knows not to provoke me!!! Anyways, Daddy is doing great and I am on my best behavior around him.

I CAN WALK!!!! I CAN WALK!!! I took a few feeble steps Thursday night and I took NINE steps all by myself Friday morning. Can you believe it?? Daddy was even paying attention at the time!!! Mommy and Daddy just cheered and cheered!! They were so happy that I can get around like a big boy!! I think they think I am a trained monkey though because they were making me show everyone I can walk.

Friday we went on a road trip to Eureka Springs. Aunt Kay and Uncle Carl went too. Elvis (Aunt Kay's puppy) went too. Elvis wasn't too sure about me at first but after a while he decided that I could be his buddy. I had a blast playing with Elvis. Ms. Jennifer you will be happy to know that I got another toy in Eureka Springs!! Daddy and I are into pirates lately so I got a pirate. Hearty Har Har!!! I woke Mommy and Daddy up at the hotel will my 3:30 antics. What can I say, after being cooped up in a car all day, I was ready to play. Anyone would scream about having to be asleep when they have a need to play. Mommy didn't think that every time she thought I was about to fall asleep again, I would say "ay" from my crib. I think it was funny even if she didn't. Mommy finally got back to sleep around 5. When Daddy was toting me around the next morning the neighbors mentioned to him how I woke them up. When Daddy told Mommy that the neighbors complained, Mommy wan't very sympathetic. Then Daddy mentioned that they were the downstairs neighbors...Mommy still wasn't sympathetic. Like everyone else in that hotel wasn't making some kind of racket with their cars (Apparently it was a Corvette car show weekend--Grandpa Len and Granny Bev would have been happy to be there)!!!

Saturday night Aunt Patty and Uncle Lenny came by so I could show them my moves. They were very impressed with my abilities!! I got to wrassle around with Uncle Lenny. He kept making me mad though because he kept putting my doughnuts on the ring. Uncle Lenny needs to understand that my doughnuts are meant to be strewn about, not stacked!!

Ms. Jennifer you will be happy to know that Mommy didn't get me a Sunday toy today! Seems that I was Mr. Cranky Pants when we were making our normal Sunday run so we had to go home without a toy. Don't feel bad though Ms. Jennifer, Mommy says she will make it up to me!! Jessica and Ryan came over today to see my new moves. I was tired and cranky and didn't feel like showing off but I later relented. They were most impressed with my moves. Auntie Norma and Uncle Jerry came by tonight to watch me walk. They were very impressed too!! I didn't even cry when Uncle Jerry spoke to me!!! Auntie Norma is taking me to the Baby Penitentiary and picking me up tomorrow because Daddy is having his operation. I hope she remembers to come and get me. I guess I should be more worried about her remembering to drop me off. It could get awfully hot in the car!! I imagine that Uncle Jerry will make sure that Auntie Norma gets me there safely!!

Well that is all for now. I am pooped...all this walking business takes a toll on a guy! Joey, you got to come see me!!

I Think I Broke Daddy!!

Today was a busy busy day!! Mommy snuck up on me this morning when I was sleeping at the Baby Penitentiary. I got scared and cried, then she asked me if I wanted to play hooky with her for the rest of the day. I laughed and off we went. She didn't bother to tell me that playing hooky would also involve going to see Dr. Doogie Houser so he could look at my tubes. I check out just fine!!

After we left Dr. Doogie's office, we went to get Daddy, Aunt Kay and Uncle Carl so we could go to lunch. I was starving. We went to Frankie's where I got to see my buddy Mr. Rufus (he always helps Daddy bring our tray) and I got to see Ms. Crazy (she calls me Cheeks). I got to eat mashed potatoes, candied yams, macaroni and cheese, a roll and some roast beef. I was stuffed!! After lunch, Mommy and I went to her office. I didn't even pull Ms. Charlette's hair today because I was too tired to bother. It was sad though because this is the first time that Uncle Ronny wasn't there and I didn't have anyone to get in trouble. Ms. Tria took me into his office though. It was sad because nothing of Uncle Ronny's is there any more. Anyway, I had a good time visiting with everyone. Before we left, Mommy took me upstairs so I could see Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Laura. Ms. Jennifer should be happy to know that I didn't get any new toys today but Mommy says we have all weekend for that!!

Tonight I got to hang out with Daddy while Mommy took Harley's crate to Grandpa Len and Granny Bev's house. I had a blast playing with him but I think I finally succeeded in breaking the rest of his shoulder (no, not the bone...his muscle). Mommy told me that starting Monday I am going to have to be extra sweet to Daddy because he is going to have an operation on his shoulder. We won't be able to wrassle for about 8 weeks because his arm with be in a sling for about that long. Mommy said she will figure out things that Daddy and I can do together that won't cause him any pain and keep me safe. Daddy is really sad that he won't get to wrassle because we love wrassling!! Mommy said that Uncle Lenny and Uncle Jerry will have to come over to wrassle with me because she doesn't plan on wrassling with me because every time I wrassle with her she ends up getting a boo-boo!! Anyways, Auntie Norma is going to take me to Baby Jail Monday and pick me up too so that Mommy can focus on Daddy.

We are taking a road trip tomorrow. Well that is all for now!!!

Camo Girls and Another Busy Weekend!!

Friday when Mommy came to pick me she decide that she may need to rethink where I spend my days. Seems it finally dawned on her that all the little girls in my room wear camouflage just a little too much. They were all wearing it Friday. I wonder what Mommy will say when she finds their cans of dip!! Anyway, Mommy told me to stay away from girls that only wear camouflage.

Saturday morning Daddy and I did our usual doughnut run while Mommy slept in. Later that morning Aunt Patty came over and played with me all day while Mommy and Daddy cleaned out the stinky pond. Jessica was there too cleaning up all the messes Daddy and I made in the house. Uncle Lenny came too! He cut the grass because Daddy's shoulder is hurt and he can't maneuver the mower. Daddy says he can but Mommy says he can't because it hurts him to drive his truck with two hands. I don't care of the reason why Aunt Patty and Uncle Lenny came, I am just glad they came!

Saturday night, Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Lenny and I all went to dinner. This guy came in with his granddaughter who is two days older than me. He bragged because his granddaughter can walk. Mommy bragged because I have six teeth and that little girl only had two. Then the girl's Grandpa tried to show off because his granddaughter could drink sweet tea from a spoon. Then Mommy decided she had enough, grabbed Daddy's glass of sweet tea and let me drink from the cup. Mommy gave him a look like "Your walking two teeth granddaughter ain't so bad now, is she??!!" I guess Gramps got the message, Boys Rule, Girls Drool!! (Except for Mommy! Oh yeah, and Jessica because I really dig her!!)

Sunday, Mommy and I went on our usual Wally World run for groceries. Ms. Jennifer you will be happy to know that I got another TOY!! That's right, every Sunday Mommy and I get all the essentials...Groceries and a TOY!!! Guess what??? Sommer and Amanda came to see me too. Guess what?? They brought me a TOY!!! I got TWO TOYS Sunday Ms. Jennifer, count them...ONE....TWO!!! Mommy got on to Daddy because he is always toting me around to places but never seems to buy me a toy. Daddy finally explained to Mommy that he got me a light bulb at Home Depot when we were there. Mommy said, fine and to let me play with it then. Daddy then decided to tell Mommy that he wouldn't begin to know what toy to buy me because she buys them all for me. I think one day Daddy will figure out what to get me on our Saturday excursions. Sunday afternoon I took two solo sideways steps without holding on to anything. If I ever get my courage up I am going to go forward.
