I Am Cured!!

Well it appears that my secretary (Mommy) has been sleeping on the job lately because it has been over a week since she updated my site. When I went to the doctor last week (post accident check up) he decided that I had a sinus infection and prescribed me some penicillin. Well Mommy had to take her car to the MINI dealer Memphis yesterday (Daddy and Mommy decided to get a different car in the near future that doesn't require going to another state) and Daddy called her to tell her that Baby Jail just called and I had a rash on my tummy, back and legs. Mommy called Ms. Charlotte who assured her that I was doing very well but she was just worried about my rash because she knew I had been taking penicillin. Mommy burned up the phone lines between Daddy, the doctor and Baby Jail trying to get me situated. The nurse said that since my only symptoms were the rash itself with no other problems, the doctor couldn't see me until the morning but Daddy got me in to see the doctor after hours. Seems the doctor didn't want to say I would be fine until the morning without seeing me. Go Daddy! Anyway, my rash was significantly cleared up by the evening. The doctor says I shouldn't have any more penicillin (Mommy says DUH!!) and my sinus infection looks cleared up so I don't have to worry about taking anything else. Mommy had switched my laundry detergent last week so she is going to rewash all my clothes just in case the culprit is the detergent and not the penicillin. Mommy says she can't leave town anymore because she spends too much time worrying about me while she is gone. Frankly, I enjoyed having Daddy all to myself. Besides, Mommy bought me all kinds of stuff in Memphis!

Daddy and I went all over town today. I had a good time but Mommy wasn't too happy to find out that Daddy took me to the gun shop to buy some bullets. She didn't think it was very funny when Daddy told her that he was going to by me a pistol! I thought it was hilarious!

Mommy is quite pleased that the insurance company of the lady who RAMMED is going to reimburse her for my new carseat. Safety is very important you know! Mommy and I just love my new car seat because it is lighter and easier for her to maneuver. Mommy thinks Daddy is going to steal her car seat because that one is a lot easier to adjust the straps than the one he has for his car.

Uncle Fester came to see me tonight. He is going to get his tonsils taken out Tuesday so he may be out of commission for a few weeks. Apparently getting your tonsils out as an adult is a big deal. I will have to make sure that Mommy takes me to see Uncle Fester while he is recovering. Uncle Fester is just lucky that he doesn't live too far out of the way. If I were mobile, I would attempt a jail break and sneak over to Uncle Fester's and watch tv with him all day.

Well that was my week!
