The Easter Bunny Cometh!!

I got to see Grandma Dale and Uncle Jim yesterday. We went to the Easter Vigil at church last night and Grandpa and I got to cough together! Uncle Lenny, Aunt Patty, Jessica, Ryan, Auntie Kay and Uncle Carl were all there too!!! Everyone said I was the best baby in church. I only fussed a little bit but Mommy made me behave by bribing me with a bottle. Then Uncle Lenny got in trouble because he kept making me smile and was about to get me laughing. I don't know why Mommy was so worried, there were all kinds of babies there making all kinds of racket! No one would have noticed one more. Besides, when the priest delivered his sermon, I listened very intently! Daddy and Mommy were very proud of me for paying such close attention to the sermon. It turns out that Daddy and Mommy weren't the only ones who noticed. I don't know why grown ups think that the sermon is only meant for them! The message is for me too!! I must admit though, the priest got a little long winded and I let out a rather long and loud yawn. Mommy thought it was funny.

Oh boy!!! Mommy told me that the Easter Bunny was coming but I didn't believe her. Did you know that all good babies get baskets left for them from the Easter Bunny?? The Easter Bunny left me some toys, bibs, books, a rubber ducky and a BUNNY!!! Not a real bunny but bunny enough! I was so excited to see my Easter basket. Daddy helped me go through everything. My favorite toy in the basket drove Mommy nuts at the grocery store today because I figured out pretty quick how to make it make noise...over and over again!!! Mommy said she is going to have to talk to that silly rabbit!!

I got to see Granny Bev and Grandpa Len this morning! I got some Easter presents from them. I got a new Teddy Bear that I promptly put in my mouth, some candy (they know I can't eat it but it is Darth Vader M&Ms and Granny Bev is trying to indoctrinate me at an early age) and an Easter book. Uncle Lenny, Aunt Patty and Jessica came to see me tonight! I was all about my Aunt Patty tonight (sorry Uncle Lenny, I have to fuss over Aunt Patty too you know). I was showing her that I could hop, hop, hop just like a bunny! I wore her out though!
