Daddy and I made our first (and probably last) trip across the country without Mommy!! I did a great job of keeping Daddy focused on the ball. Mommy was waiting for us at the airport. I was so excited to see her but not nearly as much as she was to see me. What can I say, she is crazy about me!! A passenger on the plane told Mommy I was a very good boy on the plane. She also said Daddy did a great job too!!! When Mommy told Daddy what the lady said, Daddy replied "You have spies everywhere." Mommy told Daddy and I not to forget that either!!!
Oh yeah, I have more big news!! My adoption became final yesterday! I am forever Mommy and Daddy's bestest boy!!! I am a lucky boy because I have a family that adores me plus I have a special family that loves me too!!!! It is good to be so loved!
Mommy kept her promise, she had presents waiting for me at the hotel. I got all kinds of goodies plus a new pair of shoes!! She looked all over for a pair of Baby Vans for me and finally found them.
This morning Mommy and I walked down to the San Diego Harbor for an early morning stroll. Seems that I am on central time while Mommy has adjusted to pacific time already. Mommy didn't care that I got her up at 4 a.m. though. She would rather me stay on central time since we are just here for the weekend. Any, at the Harbor.....There were birds galore!!! I also got to see an aircraft carrier called the Midway, the Stars and Stripes (Mommy says that Grandpa Len would be impressed that I seen that), and all kinds of other boats!! Then we bumped into Ms. Alinda and Deena. Ms. Alinda works for the same "office" as Mommy and went to the same conference too! I met Ms. Alinda at the Christmas party last year but I was too young to remember meeting her way back then. I told Mommy that I wanted to go to Tijuana but she said "NO." How am I suppose to hone in my negotiation skills if I can't go to Tijuana???
We have got plans today but first I have to take a nap! My early morning adventure has worn me out!!
