Attempted Murder/Suicide And Other Adventures!!!

Okay, Aunt Patty called Mommy today to complain about lack of info so Mommy took the hint and decided she better update my blog so everyone is up to date on important happenings.

1st!! I am officially over my fear of the grass!! I can't believe I was ever afraid of the grass! I have been having a blast playing outside! I get to play outside every day when we get home from school! There are so many things to see outside! I love playing games with the neighbor's puppy---we chase each other out of the grass! Guess what??? Mommy and Daddy set up the swing set/slide that Santa brought me for Christmas. I LOVE zipping down the slide!!

2nd!! Attempted murder/suicide. The other day Daddy was carrying me when he stepped off the porch and into a hole! Mommy was watching the events unfold and she swears everything was in slow motion! Daddy braced me tight and put his left elbow out to absorb the impact of the fall. Yep, that's right...his left elbow...yep, connected to the arm that's connected to the shoulder that he had surgery on. Mommy didn't feel the least bit guilty about leaving Daddy laying in the yard to make sure I was okay. Daddy did a great job of protecting me at his own expense but I sure was scared!!! For about thirty minutes afterward I screamed anytime I saw Daddy! Daddy thought Mommy was mad at him for falling with me but Mommy knows that Daddy wouldn't really try to hurt me on purpose. Oh yeah, Mommy made Daddy go to the doctor just to make sure that he was okay since his fingers were numb the next day. The doctor seems to think that Daddy didn't re-injure anything. Whew!! Anyway, Uncle Fester says the difference between a Daddy and an Uncle is that a Daddy will always take the brunt of any injury in order to save his baby but an Uncle would just use the baby to absorb the impact! I have to keep it in mind to not let Uncle Fester walk around with me!

What else have I been up too?? Hmmmm....Sunday we went to Scott to see Granny Bev and Grandpa Len. Granny Bev was working so we had to stop there to say hi. Everyone thought I was adorable. Mommy got me this cool clacker thinga-ma-bob. I drove Granny Bev crazy with it! We then went to Grandpa's and I got to point out all the dangerous things he had laying around that I could get into. He didn't scold me for putting my hands all over the television. Daddy needs to take notes from Grandpa. It's obviously okay to put my hands all over the television or Grandpa would have said otherwise!!

Jake is my best friend in the world. He and I play hard all day long. The other day he kept chasing me around trying to kiss me. I finally had to explain to him that I am cool with hugging other guys but I draw the line at kissing! Anyway, Jake always helps Mommy when she comes to pick me up. I have this thing for taking off my shoes and socks so Mommy always has to put them back on me before we go. Jake usually stands guard protecting my bag from the vultures (aka other cellmates). Most of the time he has to run around the room collecting my belongings and bring them back to Mommy.

I went to work today. Aunt Kay and Uncle Carl are the best! Uncle Carl bought me a bubble machine. I spits out billions of bubbles. Aunt Kay tried to send it home with Mommy....Mommy said no way!!! Mommy said that she will stick with the traditional method of bubble blowing because it makes less of a mess.

I guess that is all that has happened lately. If Mommy would stop being so lazy we could pretty much guarantee that we didn't forget to mention anything! Well that is all for now.
