Today I turned the big THREE!!!! So Happy Happy Birthday to Me!!! I was singing "Happy Birthday To Me!!" all day yesterday and today. I got a visit from the Birthday Man!!! He brought me my very own big boy Thomas the Tank Engine Bicycle, a "Baby Wii", a game, a new Choo-Choo and a helmet!!! I was so excited to see my presents!!!

I have trains everywhere! Aunt Norma came by with my present since she can't make my party. I got a Thomas the Tank Engine Shirt that makes noise. Turkey Day and Goodbye Deuces!!!

I had a great Thanksgiving!!! I told Mommy that I only wanted Grandma to come to my house for Thanksgiving. I didn't even want Mommy and Daddy to come over (or stay there)!!! Mommy explained that Grandma and me might get pretty hungry if I kicked her out since she was the one cooking! Grandma and me could have eaten because I helped make candied yams!!! Mommy said that Grandma would probably want more than candied yams, so I went ahead and let everyone come over. I got to see Granny Bev, Uncle David (he's Grandpa Jim's brother), Dude, Aunt Patty, Austin, Ryan, Jessica, Sarah and Jerry. Grandpa Len was sick so he couldn't come to dinner. I had so much fun I eventually passed out in the middle of the floor! Mommy was kind enough to scoop me up and put me in bed so I could take a nap. Thanks Mommy!!!

Today is my last day of being "deuces" because tomorrow I am going to be "tres". I spent my last day of being "deuces" sick. I even got dragged to the doctor because I was on day two of having a fever and Mommy didn't want me to start my threes off being sicker. Daddy and Dude put all my Christmas lights up and Mommy put my Christmas tree up. I have the coolest house on the block!!!

Well that's all for now...I will let you know how my birthday works out!! Goodbye twos and goodbye to you!!! (Ha! Ha! I rhymed!!)

P.S. We went to look at the proofs of my pictures. I am pretty darn good looking if you ask me!!! Mommy and Daddy had a hard time picking what they wanted. We will send out pictures when we get them back...whenever that may be!

Voter Intimidation!!!

I have been very adamant to Mommy and Daddy that I am a man now and I should have my say. Apparently Mommy finally paid attention to the fact that I am all grown up. Mommy and I went to vote this evening because I always escort her to the polls. Mommy filled out one side of the ballot (constitutional issues because that is her forte) and I filled out the other side because I am a people person. I told Mommy which circles to color and she colored them!

I must admit that she didn't let me truly vote for the people I wanted to vote for and she tried to intimidate me and get me to change my mind about the circles I picked to be colored. I kept picking Green Party candidates to vote for and she insisted that if I was going to try to assert my authority as a man that I had to act like a man and not waste my vote on political distractions and stick with the "real" political parties. Can you believe that she tried several times to get me to change my votes after she insisted that I only pick between the two "real" parties??? I stood my ground though and made her color the circles that I wanted. She wasn't real happy with my choices but backed off of further intimidating me into changing my selections. Only Mommy and me know who I voted for....well okay, maybe the election official knows who I voted for by the Cheetos marks I left on the circles.

I just hope all of you went out there and voted for the right candidates. I will sleep better tonight knowing that I performed my civic duty by casting my ballot on Election Day...well okay, so technically it was Mommy's ballot but the election officials aren't as progressive as Mommy. Maybe next time we will get the voting age lowered so I can cast my very own ballot.

P.S. Shame on all of you who voted early (yeah, that means you Aunt Lili, Uncle Frank and Jesse). It is unamerican to cast early ballots. Next time stand in line and feel the excitement on ELECTION DAY either that or join the military and send in an absentee ballot.
