A New Beginning: Chosen Day

Tonight my Daddy and Mommy met with my biological parents for the very first time. They met at the Lone Star Steakhouse along with "Auntie Lynne" and "Auntie Alicia." Everyone was a little nervous at first but before long everyone got settled in and things went really well.

My Daddy and Mommy felt bad for my biological parents because they could tell that my biological parents were truly wonderful people whose circumstances just prevented them from keeping me. My daddy and biological father really hit it off. They have similar builds, senses of humor, dispositions, and beliefs. Mommy was really quiet at dinner but my biological parents did all they could to make her feel at ease. Auntie Lynne and Auntie Alicia eventually left, leaving my parents alone to get to know each other better.

My biological parents made the decision that my Daddy and Mommy would do right by me and told them that they could adopt me. My due date is December 7. Mommy and Daddy get to go to all of the doctor's appointments, which is great because they get to watch me as I develop and grown into a big, strong, healthy baby boy (of course today they don't know I am a boy; that is an entirely different story). The first appointment is June 14.

Mommy burned up the telephone lines on the way home telling everyone all about me (finally!).
