Busy Baby!!

What a busy week I have had. Daddy and Mommy bought me my own car!! That's rights, my very own car. I got a Honda Element (minus the ugly paneling). I love the new car because it has lots of windows to look out of plus I have my own sunroof that I can look out of (Mommy is jealous because she doesn't have a sunroof). Bye bye MINI Cooper! Mommy says that this car will be good for me because when I get a little older and decide to start throwing my bottles and sippy cups around the car no one can get mad because my new car is designed with messes in mind. I am just glad that Mommy won't have to go to Memphis anymore to take care of car stuff.

My plot to get extra calories was discovered! I conned the Baby Jail people into giving me a bottle in the morning with cereal in it. Mommy told them not to because I get one in the morning before I go. That's okay though because Tuesday the doctor is suppose to tell me that I can officially have solid foods. Mommy said she is going to remind me to keep quiet about the cereal I have been having. I can't wait for something other than cereal.

I had to go to the doctor Saturday morning. Mommy was worried about my ratchety breathing. Turns out that the cold medicine the doctor gave me last week really didn't help me much. I didn't like the doctor and the nurse. Anytime they looked at me I would scream at them. They gave me an updraft to get some medicine in my lungs to help break up the nasties. I got a new anti-biotic and a inhaler that I have to use temporarily, so hopefully they will get me fixed up. The doctor said for Mommy and Daddy to not worry too much about me because it isn't unusual to have an upper respiratory infection. Oh yeah, I unofficially weighed 17 lbs 14 oz (I had my clothes on).

After Mommy and I left the doctor's office we went to see Aunt Patty, Ryan, Jessica and Uncle Fester. Mommy wanted me to eat my breakfast there but I was too busy talking to everyone to eat. Daddy turned up over there because he and Uncle Fester were going to the gun range. Mommy is no fun at all because she said I couldn't go with them! That's okay though because I got to go on a road trip! Mommy and I went to see Granpa Len and Granny Bev. I had a great time talking to Granny Bev. I told her all about my week. She showed me all her Star Wars toys. Can you believe it, she has more toys than me. Mommy assures me that I will end up having more toys than her. Grandpa Len tried to teach me to crawl. I was doing a pretty good job trying to get over to him. I even tried to walk over to him (with Mommy's help of course). Guess who else I saw??? I got to meet my cousin Brian and I got to talk to my Great Aunt Darlene!!! I sure missed seeing her. She needs to come visit me!!

After Mommy and I left Grandpa Len's we went shopping. I got a couple of new outfits because I am going to need some big boy summer clothes. Uncle Lenny came over to hang out last night. It was storming pretty bad so Daddy and Uncle Lenny moved my swing away from the window. I hated where they moved me to but I know they had to do it in order to keep Mommy from fussing.

I am going to the office with Daddy today so Mommy can do women's work. Daddy says if I am a good boy we will go to the Big Boy Toy Store. I heard that before, so lets see if he follows through.
