No One Ever Said Growing Up Was Easy!!

Owwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!! I got shots again today!! Daddy let that mean nurse give me four shots again!! When is Daddy going to learn that I don't want him to let the nurse give me a shot! The doctor is quite impressed with my development. I officially weigh 17 lbs 9.1 ounces (remember the other day I had all my clothes) and am 27 inches long. I am right at the top of the line for above average. Mommy says I am not above average, I am extraordinary (Mommy knows best you know). The doctor says that I am the size of an average 6 month old. He also said that my chest is sounding better but Mommy should still give me the inhaler when ever I sound "too wheezy." I am not sure which I hate more, the shots or the inhaler. Come to think of it, I only get mad at the inhaler. I really hate shots..they hurt you know.

I have been pretty cranky since we left the doctor's office. Mommy has been having to hold me a whole lot. I like to whine whenever she changes positions because I tend to think she is trying to put me down. She needs to understand that I want to be in her arms and look at her face whenever I open my eyes. I have a slight temperature tonight. I had one earlier today before I got my shots, so Mommy and Daddy have to monitor my temperature.

The day was not a total loss though, I have the official okay to start eating real food!!! Hurray!!! I have managed to laugh and smile whenever Mommy starts talking about squash, carrots, green beans, peas, sweet potatoes, apple sauce and bananas. I cannot wait to sink my gums into real food!!!
