My First Thanksgiving!!!

Grandma Dale made cookies for Mommy and me!!!

Well my first Thanksgiving came and went!!! Daddy and I played all morning while Mommy cooked us our food. Everyone came over for dinner!!! Grandpa Len and Granny Bev were the first to arrive. I was excited at the prospect of seeing them so I met them at the door. I started to cry just as soon as they came in the door though!! I am proud to say though that I stopped crying long enough to take the $5 from Granny Bev! Mommy was so proud that I had my priorities in order!!! Grandpa Jim and Grandma Dale arrived next! I didn't want Grandpa Len and Granny Bev to feel bad so I cried when they talked to me too!! Uncle Lenny, Aunt Patty, Austin, Ryan and Jessica were the last to arrive! I had a real dilemma because I didn't want to upset Ryan by running to Jessica and I didn't want to upset Jessica by running to Ryan. I made the only choice a self-respecting boy could make, I cried at both of them and only wanted Aunt Patty to hold me!!! Anyway, I got to eat turkey, stuffing candied yams, green bean casserole, baked corn and a roll! I now know what a turkey belly is!!! Aunt Kay stopped by on her way home from her Mommy's house. I was just put down for a nap but Mommy let me get up so I could say hi to her. I am looking forward to next Thanksgiving!!


We spent the weekend looking for the perfect Christmas tree. Mommy said the tree has to be just right for me! I don't think she understands that I really don't care about Christmas trees yet!!! I am pretty sure that I am going to dig Christmas presents!! Speaking of presents, there are all kinds of boxes laying around the house...I wonder what they are??!! Mommy says I will have to wait for my birthday to find out what those boxes mean!! Well that is all for now!!
