Happy Birthday To Me!!!

Guess who's 2? Me!! That's who!! I had the best 2nd birthday ever!! Mommy says that no boy should have to go to the Baby Penitentiary on his birthday so we played hookey today!!!

Mommy sent cupcakes with me to the Baby Penitentiary yesterday so I could celebrate my last full day of being 1 with my cellmates!! I even let the bratty kids have some. Mommy and Daddy think that bossy Emma is my girlfriend because I always smile, say Emma and then run over to her but act like I am not interested. Mommy doesn't think my taste in women is very good because Emma is BOSSY!! Mommy can't understand why I would want a bossy woman. Daddy just smiles at Mommy, winks at me, and says that he doesn't know why I like bossy women either because I am never around such type women!! I think Daddy is in trouble!

Anyway, today I found a box wrapped in Pablo paper on the coffee table. I went to investigate it. Guess what?? It was a present for me!! Daddy helped me investigate the insides...it was a Pablo train!!! I love my CHOOOO-CHOOOO!!!

Then we all got dressed and went to get DONUTS!!!! I got TWO DONUTS because I am TWO!!! I got to go to Mommy's office so I could visit everyone. I was really shy at first but I kissed Mr. Smedley!! When it was time to go I decided it was okay to say bye-bye to everyone and blow kisses!! Ms. Laura came up there to see me too!!

I got to go get my picture taken too!! (Yes people, you will be getting them not too long after Mommy gets hers.) I wouldn't cooperate inside the studio so we got to do an outdoor shoot so I would behave. I got to throw "gum balls" into a pond, play on a bridge and jump off big rocks! I decided I needed to do some business, so Mommy told the photographer to give me some privacy. Thanks Mommy!!! After we were done, I got to go see Aunt Kay and Uncle Carl!!! I ran all over the office and found a vacuum cleaner to play with. I was exhausted by the time we go back to the car.

Mommy and I took a long birthday nap this afternoon. When I woke up there were two giant Christmas blow ups set up in my playground. All I could say was "Oh My!" Then I found another present!! I got three more Pablo playsets. There are more presents for me but Mommy says that I can have them tomorrow. You don't think that she will try to get me to forget about them and then act like they are Christmas presents do you?? Anyway, rumor has it that My Joey is going to personally deliver me a present tomorrow.

Well, I had a wonderful day!! It's good to be two!!!

Happy Gobble Gobble Day!!!

Boy!!! The house sure smelled good today! Daddy and I played all morning because Mommy was busy cooking food, food and more food. I have taken to trying to climb the stairs by sneaking over to the staircase and climbing up the stairs on the outside of the railing. Mommy and Daddy won't stop yelling at me about that. I think I am coordinated enough to climb stairs with two inches of floor space. Mommy is threatening to put razor wire on the staircase to teach me a lesson. I also asked her "what's that?" pointing at the turkey. Can you believe that she told me that it was the last buddy she had that climbed up the stairs on the outside of the railing. Someone please tell me that she is lying!!!

Anyway, they finally convinced me to take a nap. Guess who woke me up? My "Ca" and Back Up Babe Ryan woke me up. Want boy wouldn't want those two to wake them from their slumber?? I was so excited!!! Uncle Fester, Aunt Patty, Grandpa Len, Granny Bev, Grandpa Jim and and Grandma Dale were all there too! I gave everyone hugs and kisses!! (Well except Austin---his beard kinda freaks me out!) Seems the grandparent units aren't sure what to get me for my birthday because they have seen that I have too many toys. All I can say is...GOOD LUCK FINDING SOMETHING I DON'T ALREADY HAVE!!!!

Anyway, how about an update?? I have been getting bit by some brat at the Baby Penitentiary. Mommy was made because the Wardens hadn't mentioned it and Mommy was finding the teeth marks on me. The Wardens didn't know because I am not a baby...I just take it like a man when some brat bites me and don't cry about it. Mommy says I should head butt the biters, I think I will try that!!

I got to see my biological family last Sunday. I even got to meet my biological grandfather!! I even gave everyone kisses (not that I am shy about dishing out the love nowadays)! I had a blast playing with all the kids. I was mad when all the kids left. I think Santa should bring me a brother and sister! Mommy says that I am too young to really know what I want. She also says that if I had a little brother or sister I would have to share my toys all the time and that I would hate to not be the Sun, Stars and the Moon. Well....she may have a valid point there!!!

Well that's all for now. Only 8 more shopping days until the BIG 2!!!!!

Road Trip!!!!

I got to go on a road trip with Mommy and Daddy!!! We went to Dallas to see Uncle FO, Aunt Lili, Jesse and my Joey. Mommy ought to get the Mommy of the year award. I took a two hour nap in the car on the way down and then I decided to stay up and play with Joey until 2 a.m. What a Mommy! Anyway, I was really nice to everyone this time, even to Oreo! I thought it was pretty fun to keep putting my food into Oreo's bowl for him to eat. Mommy made me get mad at Jesse because I changed my mind about the M&M I put in Oreo's bowl and she made Jesse wrestle it away from me. Poor Jesse, poor me!! In any event, I had a blast and Uncle F.O. said I can come back!! Thanks for having me Aunt Lili. See you in a couple weeks Joey and Jesse!

Maybe That Wasn't A Good Idea!!!

I was mean to Mommy yesterday. In my own defense, she was mean first. She wouldn't give me the vacuum cleaner because she was using it to vacuum behind the bed. So I picked up the floor attachment and clobbered Mommy in the head with it!!! Can you believe that I got into trouble for that??? I had to go to time out because I laughed after hurting Mommy's head! Well it seemed like a good idea at the time!! I hated time out!!! Daddy asked Mommy how long I had to stay in time out (sitting on the couch with Daddy not being allowed to get down). Mommy told him that I had to stay there until her head didn't hurt anymore. Mommy told me that I am lucky that she is not old school because old school people would have spanked me with the vacuum. Now that wouldn't be cool!

Apparently Mommy wasn't too mad at me because she let me go see my girl Ca and my back up babe Ryan later that afternoon! I just love my girls!! I got to eat M & Ms over there. I got into trouble though because when I decided I had enough of the M & Ms I just spit them onto the floor. What's wrong with that??? Uncle Fester didn't mind at all!!! Mommy isn't too pleased with my new knack for trying to spit. She says it isn't very cute and I must stop immediately. A boy can't have any fun!

Eating Like A Horse!!

I don't get it. First Mommy frets over me not eating enough. So now that I have decided to eat from the moment I wake up until the moment I fall asleep she seems to have a problem with that too! I have been chowing down all week. Mommy and Daddy are actually humored by my antics and know that means I am storing up for a growth explosion. I think they just hope my grown explosion results in an upward explosion and not an outward one.

Anyways, the news of the day....I pottied on the potty!!! That's right. A deal is a deal. I pottied in the potty and Mommy gave me M & Ms. Mommy and Daddy were quite pleased that I pottied on command!!
